In the article the author is considering the problems of the labour market behaviour in the world, Russia and the Penza region in the first half of 2009, is carrying out analysis of needs for human resources in various sectors of economy, is making forecasts about the labour market development trends and is drawing conclusions concerning the demand for different training programmes on the basis of the employment trend.
